 Refunds upon Request

  1. A refund is also available upon request of the ‘purchaser’ and only if buyers are available for the ticket.

  2. WBSS is not liable for any service fees or transaction costs arising either during the ticket’s original purchase or its refund.

  3. Failure to attend or expulsion from the event does not make ticket holders eligible for a refund.

  4. All resales must be conducted through WBSS. To do this, purchasers may contact the society by messaging the WBSS Facebook page.

  5. Tickets can be resold through WBSS up to 5 hours before the beginning of the event.

  6. Tickets resold privately will not confer a valid right of entry to the event.

  7. Names of ticket holders are checked against an entry list at the door to the event.

  8. WBSS offers full refunds for resold tickets - excluding any service fees and transaction costs - only if buyers are available.

  9. Full refund here means the price of the ticket that the purchaser reselling the ticket paid. It bears no relation to the price WBSS will charge purchasers of resold tickets.

  10. If a buyer is available for the ticket, the ‘ticket holder’ will be notified by WBSS and the amount stipulated in Section 10 of this contract will be refunded to the purchaser bank account that was used to purchase the ticket within 14 business days of being notified that the ticket was resold.
