Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction

These terms and conditions serve as an agreement between you (herein ‘the member’) and Warwick Business School Society (herein ‘the society’ or ‘WBSS’).

Read these terms and conditions carefully.

You agree to be bound by and comply with the terms and conditions set out.

‘The member’ is defined as any third party purchasing a membership through the WBSS website.

You must be at least 18 years of age to buy a membership to the society. Purchase of such membership serves as declaration that the user is 18 years of age.
2. Payments

The membership is a one-time payment of £8.

This payment can be made only through the website ‘wbss.co’ via credit or debit card.

This payment is non-refundable.
3. Termination

Membership is not an automatic right; it is a benefit for community members who follow our reasonable rules.

We hold the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time for any of the following reasons:

If you breach the terms of this agreement

If you act in a way that does not align with the values of our community

If you act in a way that could cause harm to the reputation of WBSS, its executives or fellow members
4. Data Protection

WBSS hereby agrees to keep any and all confidential information that is obtained about the member strictly confidential.

Confidential information regards that which is not in the public domain.

This clause shall survive beyond the length of the membership contract.
5. Liability Disclaimers

WBSS makes no express warranties or representations as to the quality and accuracy of the website or services.

We do not accept responsibility for any use of or reliance on our resources, content or services.

We expressly disclaim any implied warranties, conditions and/or representations, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Changes to Terms

The society is free to change the membership terms and conditions without notice. Such changes will unless otherwise stated take immediate effect.

The society will publish changes to the terms and conditions on its website ‘wbss.co’.

Members are responsible for checking and reviewing any such changes themselves.
7. Disclaimers

The society gives no warranty that the service offered by this membership will be free of faults.

The society reserves the right to alter all or part of the terms of the membership, after which these terms and conditions will still apply.
8. Liability

The owner is not liable to you in regards to losses occurring beyond its control.

The owner does not accept liability for business losses, or loss of data.
9. General

The rights offered under these terms and conditions are non-transferrable.

Any update of the terms and conditions will immediately assume precedence over previous terms and conditions.

No third party will have any right to rely on any provision of these terms and conditions.

If a court finds part of these terms and conditions to be invalid, this will not affect the entirety of the terms and conditions.

Delay in exercising a right or remedy contained within these terms and conditions does not constitute a waver of said remedy.
