The Equity Research team of the Quantitative Investment Group is looking to recruit new analysts! The team has been working on making research reports, covering dozens of companies, for several years now. The ER team is concerned with the analysis of companies to estimate their underlying values. Analysts learn how to conduct expansive financial analysis, summarize research in reports, and pitch to fellow students.We intend to continue making exceptional quality reports and also expand our club on several other fronts.

All students are encouraged to apply from all backgrounds and with all levels of experience as extensive teaching will be held for new recruits. However, the role is highly demanding and you will be expected to learn new concepts, attend meetings and complete allocated tasks in a timely manner. Previous candidates have been successful in landing roles in investment banking and equity research after university. A lot will be expected of you but you will also learn the most important skills required in these industries.

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Conducting extensive due diligence through reading securities filings and utilizing databases

- Completing financial analysis and valuation in Excel

- Writing equity research reports

- Creating presentations and charts in PowerPoint and then pitching them to other students
